Adetutu is a board‑certified nurse practitioner with dual training in psychiatric mental health and family practice. Originally from Nigeria, she moved to the United States in her late teenage years to pursue her education, completing a BSc in Biochemistry and a BSN in Nursing at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, followed by a Master of Public Health and a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Practice specialty. Her clinical experience spans outpatient care, house‑call visits, and long‑term support for older adults in Maryland, along with meaningful work supporting veterans through trauma‑informed mental health care and ongoing condition management.
This background allows her to evaluate mental and physical factors together and offer a comprehensive, grounded perspective on patient care. Her approach is rooted in an integrative model that considers mind, body, behavior, and environment as interconnected. She focuses on steady progress, consistent monitoring, and thoughtful adjustments that reflect each patient’s needs over time, ensuring care that is attentive, informed, and aligned with long‑term well‑being.
